What is C5 Nursing
C5 Nursing stands for Compassion, Curiosity, Competence, Conscience and Commitment.
Compassion - is the foundation of a strong patient-provider relationship. By showing genuine empathy and understanding-especially when navigating sensitive topics-we foster trust, encourage open communication, and create a safe space for healing. Compassion isn’t just kindness; it’s a powerful force that can profoundly influence a patient’s well-being and recovery.
Conscience - is at the heart of true professionalism. It means upholding ethical values, protecting patients’ rights, and consistently doing what is right—even when no one is watching. By leading with integrity and compassion, we ensure that every patient receives care that is not only high in quality but also delivered with dignity, respect, and a deep sense of responsibility.
Commitment - is the promise we renew every day—to put our patients first. Through unwavering dedication, we ensure their needs are met fully, consistently, and with excellence. This steadfast focus not only enhances the quality of care but transforms each patient’s healthcare experience into one of trust, compassion, and genuine support.

Nursing Background
I am a Registered Nurse with nearly 30 years of experience across a wide range of healthcare settings, both locally and internationally. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the Philippines in March 1991 and began my career gaining hands-on experience in public and private hospitals. During this time, I worked in general wards and specialized departments including paediatrics, medical, surgical, and outpatient care.
In January 1996, I accepted a position at an IVF clinic in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, where I expanded my clinical skills over nearly two years. After completing my contract, I returned to the Philippines, got married, and migrated to the Netherlands. There, I worked in a nursing home before transitioning to hospital care after becoming fluent in Dutch.
In 2003, I relocated to New Zealand, completed a nursing bridging program, and obtained my local registration. I then worked in both public and private hospitals, gaining experience in orthopaedics, plastic surgery, and medical-surgical care.
Following a move to Sydney, Australia in 2006 due to my husband’s career, I continued my professional journey in diverse healthcare environments. My roles have included work in medical-surgical units, palliative care, orthopaedics, medical imaging, medical centres, and community nursing—allowing me to develop a broad and adaptable nursing skillset.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, I have recently completed an Introduction to Injectable Nutrition course and earned a Certificate of Completion for the Masterclass in Microbiome Platinum through Goodness Lover, guided by Sarah Otto. I am currently enrolled in the Absolute Healing Program offered by Health Secret under Jonathan Otto.
My extensive and varied background reflects my unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care and continually advancing my professional knowledge to better serve my patients.
